TSoH - The Lost Chronicle

1/20/23 17:43. Somewhere in the middle of the United States.

"We need to do something with this asshole! If we starve him to death, he'll smell like death!"

"Well, if he doesn't negotiate with us, we can take other drastic measures."

"Like what?"

"We just got "it" in a month ago and it's up and running"

"Ohhhh, that. I completly forgot about that. Are you sure it works?"

"Yeah, we tested it on Jerry, why not him too?"

"Poor ol' Jerry, should've shut his mouth."

"Can we even do this? Is it even legal?"

"Nobody cares anymore, not even the President!"

"Stupid pigs!"

Tied to a chair in a dark room, the hacker sits there patiently waiting for his torture. Then, two guards walk in and shortly after that, a man in a trenchcoat walks in. They were all looking at the hacker with the same look. They all wanted him dead at least for looking at private information. But "it" might make the hacker talk.

"Who are you?"

The hacker sits and looks at the man with anger on his face as he did not speak. The three men waited for an answer but they heard none. One of the guards decided to hit the hacker with the end of his AR-15. The hacker lost teeth, but then the man in the trenchcoat pulled out a gun. He held the gun for a second. Then the man in the trenchcoat shot the guard who hit the hacker. He shot him in the lungs so that he would suffer.

“Now! If you want to end up like him or even worse!”

“Like how?! You don’t have the balls to make me talk!”

“……..*Sigh* We asked politely, now we’re tired.”

“Already”

"Very funny ass wipe! Since you will not tell us your name, we then just want to know why are you here?"

"To get info on what really happened! You and your 'experiment' killed my father!"

"How did it so?"

"My dad was a liquidator when Hunter first attacked Chernobyl. He dragged his body to a certian point with one leg gone! Then, just died stuggling to stay alive!"

"I'm terribly sorry for this minor inconvinence but.."

"But?! But what?! This isn't minor! You should at least tell the relatives of the people who where killed by Hunter! Is there any way it can be destroyed?!"

"You didn't read the story fully? It can't be destroyed! Your government can't help you here!"

"You bastards! I don't believe you! It can be destroyed!"

"Hmmm......maybe you should find out for yourself!"

"Your kidding?! One man can't destroy that! It's one mean son of a bitch!"

"And this thing as you heard, can't be destroyed by a nuke for two reasons sir?....."

"That's not funny!"

"One. It's already radioactive enough as it is with 790 REMS(roentgens equivalent man)! And two. This thing is a god whether you like it or not. So it is immortal!"

"You find that info on Wikipedia too?"

"THAT'S ENOUGH SMARTSHITTIN' ME!"

*long pause*

"I can do whatever I want with you. I can destroy you, or your family, or your friends! Or I can release you!"

"Blow me!"

*The man in the trechcoat pulls out the gun and shoots the hacker in the leg*

"Did you say pull?"

"Ahh.....ahhh..."

"What? I can't hear you!"

*another long pause*

"That's how it should be!.......We keep this informatin from the public because we fear more people are going to die just by trying to find this thing."

"...................then why are you threatining to kill me........"

"Because I was granted this power. Now, listen carefully. I want you to go to Chernobyl and study from a Hotel on Hunters habitat. I want to know what it does exactly becasue Mike could've been lying to us and we need to know it's gender."

"................your kidding me? It's gender?"

"Just do it! And we'll supply you with a M4A1 and geiger counter along with your trip."

"But if I shoot, won't Hunter hear it?"

"Well........We'll find a surpresor."

"At least help me heal my wound on my leg before I do anything."

"That's your own punishment."

The man and the one guard are three steps from the door when the hacker yelled for one last question.

"Hay! Wait!"

"What?"

".............How did Chernobyl really blow up?"

" *sighs*....I was afraid you'd ask this. In 1986, we hired a man who was already involved in a nuclear accident in a submarine in the 1960's. He was Russsian though. His name was 'Anotoly Diatlov'."

"..............Im.....Impossible!"

"We already knew that Chernobyl was going through saftey tests and we hired him to somehow cause the plants reactor to cause a meltdown and we already knew he was the head commander in the control room. He took our offer but we felt sorry for the man because his son died of Lukemia two years after the sub accident. And his body was composed of 200 REM's after the accident."

"But why did you want the power plant to blow up?"

"Why? Simple, we wanted communism to look bad!"

"By causing a nuclear catastrophie?! And killing innocent people?! And ruining a once great city?!"

"And we made it look bad to once the communist party tried to cover Chernobyl up."

"*starts crying softly*...........genocidal............you people are just...........evil...."

"I'm glad you noticed."

Finally, when the two men step out. They shut the door while the crying hacker is still tied to the chair on the ground. Then the hacker blacks out. He had a dream where there was a red sky and houses look like they've been torn and his government killed millions of people and he helped them cause it all while watching people die right in front of him. Then, he saw a little gril from a distance holding a small doll. While walking to her dorm, a guard took the doll and she was screaming for it back and then the guard took a lighter and lit the doll on fire. The guard then dropped the doll as it was coming close to burning his hands. The little girl was desparetly trying to put the doll out before it could turn to ashes. She was crying heavily and shouted "You.....big....meanie!" Then the guard pulled out his .45 and shot the girl point blank.

"NOOOOOOOO! I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN! GET ME THE F*CK OUT OF HERE YOU DRY CUNTED ASSHOLES! AHHHRG! GET ME...OUT!

Then, two patroling officers come up to the door and call in for a sleeping siringe to calm down the hacker. When the siringe came, a Gardevoir who had on some clothes that look like they were old was holding the siringe and said:

"??? ????? ???? ??????."

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!? LET GO! DUAAAAAAAH! DON'T PUT THAT SHIT IN ME! AAAAAAAAH!AAAaaaahhhh aaaahh........*at this point, the hacker fell asleep*"

"Let's get him dressed"

The hacker finally wakes up but when what he first hears is the sound of a helicopter and he's strapped to a seat with a man standing at a door.

"Where am I?!"

"Your in a Mi-24 Hind-D. Your going to sky dive to Chernobyl."

"........Aww shit. Where are we know?"

"We're right over Chornobyl."

"We're over the plant?!"

"No! The city of Chornobyl! We're about 2 miles from Pripyat city limits."

"Oh. Well.....you could've said the city of Choronbyl."

"I just hate being politically correct."

"Ah."

"We're about 1 kilometer off the ground so you'll be parachuting to Pripyat. A map is in your bag. And I got your M4 with me right now. *holds up M4*"

"And the clips?"

"In ya' bag too............Thirty seconds!"

"Fiftee....."

All of a sudden, a large explosion occured on the Hind's left side.

"Aww shit!"
"Aww shit!"

"What's going on, Mark?!.......Mark?! Damnit!"

"Hey! Unstrap me!"

The man hesitates as he fears for his life trying to stay up in the plumiting helicopter. But then, the speaker comes on and then a strange voice speaks

"??? ??? ???, ? ? ?? ????? ????????? ????? ??????????????????? ?????????. ??? ??? ??? ??? ?????? ? ??????????, ? ??? ??????????!"

"Who the hell was that?!"

"I don't know! Orders didn't include this!"

"Goddamnit unstrap me!"

"Alright just AAAH! Da........."

After five minutes falling to the ground, the helicopter finally plumits but was low on fuel fortunately but the other man didn't survive. The hacker however, survived but brutally injured. He was lying in the damaged helicopter for five minutes untill he found a sharp piece of metal right next to him. After a minute of pain and struggling to break himself free of the tight strap, he finally got the strap off of him. But right when he got the strap off the Hind was in a position in where he fell to the right. He was suffering for thirty minutes untill someone opened the door from the damaged Hind.

"Holy shit dude! You took a bad fall! Lemme help ya'."

"Who are you?......Why did you......help? You have to get .........out."

"Sir, I live here. My name is Mike"

"..........No.......Leave me."

"I can't! I can't leave another person behind!"

So. After half an hour of getting string and broken pieces of wood to make a splint for the wounded hacker, Mike finally gets the hacker out of the Hind. The weather is snowy where Mike was, which of course made it harder for the hacker to stay alive. I believe it was twelve degrees ferinheight. Low for January but it was still bad. Mike finally took the hacker to a house where there was little radiation. It was filled with old books and a rug on a wall with a deer in the background.  Everytime Mike looks at another part of a person's personal property, he always feel like it was his fault for Chernobyl and he knows it wasn't. He just wished everything was a terrible lie.

"Mike..........Why did you help me?!"

"I wanted to. But I can't be here for long."

"......It's watching you, isn't it? I don't...*gasps* want anything to happen."

"I've only got thirty minutes"

"How do you know?!"

"This thing can speak English and Russian"

"But this city is in Ukraine!"

"But the city was a population full of Communist Russians. This whole city was run by the Soviet Union! Now....It's dead. I feel like something could've been done but I wasn't there. I need to ............go now...*he sheds a small tear from his eye*  "

"But Mike, how do you know that I'm safe here?! I'll die within a week!"

"Don't worry umm. I never got your name. What is it? And it appears your right eye is how should I put it?...It has no retina."

"Call me....Kale"

"What kind of name is that?!"

"That's what I said at eleven."

"Alright, Kale. To answer your question, I know what I'm doing. I have some kind of feeling this has little radiation. If you puke, your screwed. This is the best place I could find. Either this or a dorm."

"Why not the dorm?"

"It has a crusted dog in the dorm, Kale."

"............Thanks."

"No problem buddy"

As Kale relaxes in his temporary home. Mike finally walks back to the Chernobyl power plant as he is awaited by Hunter. He never realized reactor one, two, and three have less radiation that four. (It's the world's worst nuclear disaster! What do you expect when you neighbor a blown up reactor?) If Hunter wants him to stay with him, Mike stays in reactor number fours control room. Just empty and dark it was. That's as close as he was going to get to the reactor again. He just slept on the cold floor, shivering. Knowing that the misery that he's dealing with, he knows he can't go back considering how close the beast is to him mentally.
It's 1:23 AM, the phone rings in control room #3. Mike wakes up to the phone. "That's odd. I never heard the phone ring here ever." He walks over to the phone and picks it up. "Hello?" he answered and then he gets a reply, "Good. Your in. I need you to study the beast. I want you to go the top floor of a hotel not to far away from here.". He finally realizes why Kale is here in Pripyat. "Listen buddy! This thing has not done any harm unless someone disturbs it or comes near it! So you can go to hell!" Then he gets a reply "......I know it's you, Mike. I wasn't talking to the guy who we sent in. We knew he wouldn't last 15 minutes over Pripyat. We just needed a way to kill him and needed an excuse. I just need some info from the source." and then Mike goes silent for a minute. When Mike finally decides to speak, he says "What do you plan to do with this thing?! You can't tame it! It'll melt itself right out of the Poke'ball! It can't be captured! Who is this anyways?!" and then "Heheheheh. We are the people who run your former country. And now, we'll kill your family". Mike is in shock "WAIT! NO! YOU CAN'T!" The phone hangs up on the other end. Mike slams the phone to the ground and says "DAMN YOU! NOT HER! PLEASE!" He tries to redial but the line was busy. He breaks out in tears.
12:46 PM, Kale is still asleep. Mike walks in quietly in the door. Mike ends up to the side of Kale and then slams his fist on Kale's broken leg. Kale ends up stiff and yelling. Mike then says "SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TELL THEM TO NOT KILL HER!" Kale replies "What are you talking about?! What's going on?!" Mike replies "I GOT A PHONE CALL LAST NIGHT! THE PEOPLE WHO YOU ONCE WORKED FOR IS GOING TO KILL MY MOM! STOP THEM!" Kale is quiet for a brief second. "But why would they kill your parents? What do they have to do with anything?!"  Mike replies "THEY WANT TO CAPTURE HUNTER! I WON'T LET THEM! BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DON'T WANT MY PARENTS TO DIE!" Mike falls on Kale's lap and starts crying hard "And by the way, Kale. They wanted you dead anyways. They still want to know about Hunter but not from you. I'm sorry." Kale gets angered quickly and shouts "What?! THOSE SONS OF A BITCHES! THEY'RE OVER USING THEIR POWER! WE'RE NOT A DEMOCRACY! WE'RE A COMMUNISM AND WE DON'T KNOW IT! WE ARE THE COMMUNISTS!"
Then, the both hear a loud roar from two miles away. "Oh shit. You said the 'word'. Never say the C word around here." Kale asks "Why is that?!" Then Mike says "Communism is what ruined him and this town." Then Kale remembers what 'They' told him about Anatoly Diatlov. "My god. It was all set up. Our government did this too?! We are ruining the world as we speak. We have no rights at all. They decide for us. Good or bad. It's not right. Land of the free? We lost our motivation." Mike then says "You gotta get out of here! That thing will rip you to shreads!" Kale responds "It's too late. I can't help myself now. I might as well face the thing. I know I can't fight it but....... Since it's going to fight me reguardlessly, I want a challenge." Mike replies "But you can't face Hunter! Especially with your broken legs! How the hell can you fight that thing?!" Kale then tries to get off of the bed and then falls to the floor and then yells. Hunter lets another loud roar out when he hears Kale yell. "Kale! He's not far from here! Maybe I can at least try to reason with it! Just don't pick a fight with him!" Kale then asks "Why do you so desparately ot want me to fight him!?" Mike answers "I want my mom to live!" Kale responds "I CAN'T DO ANYTHING! I DON'T KNOW HOW! I'M JUST A FUCKING VICTIM! LET ME DIE AT LEAST SO I CAN END MY MISERY!"
Mike then takes a couple of steps back away from Kale and lets him crawl torwards his fate. Kale then says to himself "I remember the guards saying they could put me into 'It' instead of this. I wonder what 'It' was. Kale then sees Hunter from far away and Hunter sees Kale. Kale is lying on the grass like a helpless animal. Hunter then finally lands on the ground in front of Kale letting out a loud roar again. "BRING IT YOU PUSSY! KILL ME!" shouted Kale. Hunter then looks at Kale with an angered face. Hunter then speaks "You shall parish for questioning me!" Kale has a slight smile on his face.  And then all of a sudden, Hunter disappears into a laser as he is being captured into a Master Ball. Kale then sees the man from the dark room. Mike then asks "Who is that?!" Kale answers "It's the guy who wanted me dead!" Mike then yells at the man "YOU SON OF A BITCH! DON'T KILL HER!" Mike then tries to pull his gun out at the man but before Mike could shoot the guy, the man then pulls out a .44 revolver and the shoots at Mike hitting him in the arm and near the lungs.
The man then says "Don't worry, 'I' didn't kill her!" Mike then tries to yell but he can't. The man then says to himself "It takes five minutes for this thing to be captured. I believe I can wait." The man gets his face closer the the master ball and then says "I can't believe I have you. After all this time, I got you. With all those distractions working out well, I have you here in my hands." The man starts to walk away but then Mike pushes his pistol over to Kale and then Mike says "One......shot" Kale then picks up the gun and points it at the man thinking to himself "For me". Kale takes the shot with a loud "BAM" the man collapses fast, dropping the ball. Mike then says softly "Go free him ........before it's to.......late" Kale then desparately crawls torawrds the collapsed man in pain and yelling to get closer.
Sweaty and tired, he gets to the ball with 1 minute to spare. Then all of a sudden, the man jumps on Kale and Kale drops the ball. "The man then yells at Kale "NO! I'VE COME THIS FAR AND YOUR NOT WORTHY OF RUINING THIS!" They fight fist by fist hitting each others faces and the bloody man then tries to snap Kale's neck while Kale is on his back. Then Kale sees the revolver and desparately struggles to grabs it. His arm reaches out closer and closer but the man is still attempting and Kale is still resisting. Finally, Kale gets close enough to grab the gun and pistol whips the man in the face and then fires out the four shots left in the gun. The man however did get shot in the heart and then fell on Kale, lifeless. Kale then struggles to get the man off of him and crawls again torawrds the ball with 11 seconds left. Kale struggles with blood on his body to get closer and then finally, he grabs the ball and then releases Hunter with 3 seconds left untill he ended up in the wrong hands.
When Hunter was released, he was on his back lying down. Then Kale looked over at Mike where he saw no movement at all. Kale let out a small tear. "Poor guy didn't stand a chance." Hunter finally got up slowly. Hunter stood up and walked torawrds Kale and Kale asked "So? Am I ready to die?" Hunter replied "You are not worthy enough to die. However, I shall give you something else." Kale asked "And so what is that?" Kale then saw a black cloud over Hunter. Lightning stuck down and thunder roared. Rain poured down on Pripyat. "Look into me, Kale." Kale turned over and looked at Hunter and saw that Hunters eye's were glowing black. Kale said "What the hell is going on?!" Hunter replied "You have suffered greatly and you somehow need help in life defending yourself. I am helping you." Then, a dark mist came lunging at Kale and then the mist went inside of his body. Kale yelled in pain. Kale's muscles grew bigger and his bangs grew longer. His left eye became a shiny blue and his right eye remained the same. A pale eye without a retina.  "It is done" said Hunter. Hunter then flies off into the distance. Kale is however blacked out. 4 hours later, Kale finally wakes up. He lifts his head and opens his eyes slowly. He looks at his hands  and his arms. He sees that his arms are buffed up slightly and so are his legs. He notices he has a six pack too. He touches his legs and feels no pain. "What has he done to me?! This is great!" Kale then stands up in excitement. He decided to run for no reason and he found out that he has more stamina and can run faster. "Wow! I could never run that fast! Not even in the military! Nobody could run this fast!" He looked over to a lone tree. He decided to punch it and left a dent into the tree. "Hmm. Not bad."
Then, he falls to the ground in pain, standing on his arms and knees. "Ow! Shit! Already problems!? What is going on?! My eye! It hurts!" He then waves his hands over his eye and sees that the mist is on his hand from his own eye. "Is it leaking out?! Why is it doing this already?!" Then out of nowhere, Kale hears "It means your going beserk soon. You end up with so much anger that you become stronger than what you are right now." Kale then asks "Can it be controlled?" Then the voice said "In cases like this one, yes. In cases of true anger, no." Kale then gets up and stretches out. Kale then walks over to Mike's body and crouches down near it. Kale puts his index and his middle finger on Mike's left wrist and feels no life. Kale goes back into the small house and finds a blanket and walks back over to Mike's lifeless body and puts the balnket over him. "God help us." said Kale. Kale then walked away from the body and closer to the city limits of Pripyat.

When he walked out of the city limits, he saw an army encamped outside of the city and the army. He was captured and taken for experimenting. The went into surgery inside of his head and gave him telekinesis. The wanted to make a super soldier out of him. 3 months into experimenting, he escaped from the lab he was being tested in. Then the government ordered an assassination of Kale. There was a sniper on the overpass of I-75 and Kale was walking outside of the Palace of Auburn Hills and he was shot in the right eye. Police were there but they knew about the assassination. They took his seemingly dead corpse to another lab. They figured out that he was alive but just by barely. They decided to give him a new yellow goldish colored eye. He was in a coma when they put his new eye in. He was in a coma for about a month and when he woke up, he went beserk. We didn't think that he'd go beserk without his old eye. Aparently the mist is still in him. He went missing after that. The lab which he was operated at was destroyed by him. Kale is now running from everything.

Hunter has been seen at Pripyat. The military attempted to tame him but their attemps were unsucessful. They were all killed. The government just doesn't know when to quit. Hunter is now all alone in the city of Pripyat. Hunter never came back to Kale or anyone else. We still don't know why Hunter didn't kill Mike. We know why he didn't kill Kale of course. But the government should just stay away from some situations like this.
